THE ANALYZER AMETEKs 4500 Phenol Analyzer system is used for the monitoring of low levels of phenol in wasted water .
It is highly recommended to be used with the AMETEK Western Research TM 4000 Photometric Analyzer as more than 2 years have to spent to research on this device.
The different ultraviolets photometry uses the Wavelength shift with the pH to measure the low level of phenols.
The basic water solutions absorb higher UV than the normal acidic phenol solution.
Difference of proportion is directly linear to the phenol concentration.
It is specific as no other water contaminants are visible.
The difference or basic or acidic solutions can be measured by this anlayser with the help of a measuring wavelength of 289 nm with a reference length of 365 nm
